The Sixth Rover – Part 25

Hunter and the rest of the Rovers agreed on leaving HQ in order to find their fellow Rover Blitz, who's heart was filled with pain, suffering, and hate for his twisted older brother, Geist, who harshly took the life of the one whom the grieving doberman once called his little brother, Cory, the innocent Welsh Corgi pup, who once fought alongside the Road Rovers in their battles for world peace and balance.

Very far away, Blitz the doberman had traveled far, walking on and on as if he knew where he would find his older brother.

Blitz:  (...I know where he is... I can smell him from afar... the smell of... Cory's blood... in him... I know where you are, Geist. I'm going to make you pay for what you did to my little brother... Cory... I miss you.)


Meanwhile, Hunter and the other Rovers have agreed to  split up so they could look for Blitz, Hunter and Colleen went one way, Shag and Muzzle went another, and Exile asked to go on his own and Hunter agreed.


The blue husky walked on and on as if he knew where he could find Blitz, as he walked he remembered a day from when Cory was still with them as their youngest Rover, at a time when he was still recovering from the shock he had gone through because of his interference in Blitz's battle with Geist. It was a calm night in the Road Rovers' HQ. Cory was sitting on a couch, almost falling asleep. Exile noticed the young sleepy corgi and walked up to him.

Exile:  Hey, partner. If you're sleepy then you should go to your room, right?

Suddenly, the sleepy pup grabbed the blue husky's hand:

Cory:   Exile... could you... sit close to me for a little bit...?

Exile: [Confused] Uhh...?

Cory:  I'm really cold... and... I had a nightmare a while back... I want someone to sit close to me. Just a little while... could you... please?

Exile:  Partner...

Suddenly, Exile sat close to the young corgi Rover to keep him warm. Cory, very sleepy an tired, dragged himself a little closer to the husky to keep himself warm.

Exile felt a little awkward but not bothered, he watched as the corgi was almost falling asleep.
Exile:  Um... partner... you're a big boy now, you need to go to your room and sleep... Umm...?

The husky's words were of no use, as the corgi pup was already fast asleep. As Exile was gazing at the young corgi sleeping, he heard some words coming from Cory's mouth in his sleep.

Cory:  ...Blitz... big brother... Thank you...

Exile:  ...Cory...

Back to present time, Exile opened his eyes again and made a vow to himself that he would find Blitz.

Exile:  (I have to find him, for partner's sake).

Far away from Hunter and the others, Exile, after traveling far and wide in search for his fellow rover, he was surprised when he finally found the brown doberman standing on a wasteland, Blitz closed his eyes and asked.

Blitz:  What do you want?

Exile, after a short pause replied.

Exile:  You're one hard dog to find, Blitzki.

Suddenly, Blitz turned to the blue eyed husky.

Blitz:  If you're here to take me back to the HQ then forget it. I'm going to find my brother and make him pay for what he's done wenether you like it or not.

Exile:  Blitz! What you are doing will only make things worse! Don't you get it!? We don't want to lose you!

Blitz:  Like I care!

Exile:  [Confused] ...?

Blitz: [Enraged]  I don't care anymore!! Geist killed him! He killed Cory!! And I'll never forgive  him!! And I won't let anyone get in my way of finding him and killing him!!!

Exile:  [Enraged] ...

Blitz: ...



Exile:  [Snarling] YOU IDIOT!!!

Suddenly, Exile punched the doberman violently in the nose. Afterwards, without the husky expecting it, Blitz snapped and pulled out his claws, and then attempted to slice the husky's face... Exile was enraged.

Exile:  Fine... if that's the way you want it...

The siberian husky and the german doberman fought eachother, injuring eachother greatly in the process, Exile was bleeding as he had been clawed in the face and Blitz's armor was full of bruises and bite marks. Suddenly, Exile had succeeded in restraining the doberman.

Exile:  JUST STOP IT, YOU IDIOT!!

Blitz, afterwards, calmed down as he noticed tears flowing from Exile's blue eyes.

Exile: [Crying] Is this really necessary!! Why the hell are we hurting ourselves like this!!? What would Cory say if he saw us doing this to eachother!!? What kind of example would we be setting if we keep fighting like this!!? I miss partner just as you do! I loved him as much as you did, Blitz!! So please, stop! Don't do this!! If you do what Geist did to him, you'll be no better!!

Exile gazed at the doberman who was crying like he had never cried before, afterwards he released him and both dogs kept crying and sobbing over Cory's demise.

Blitz:  You're right... Exile... In fact... I knew that all along...

Exile:  Blitzki...

Blitz: [Sobbing]  I knew that killing and torturing Geist for what he did to won't bring Cory back... and I know that I'll be no better than him if I do this... but... I just can't let this go... I... I want to avenge Cory... but... I don't wish to become a monster like Geist... What should I do...? WHAT SHOULD I DO!!? I can't live without Cory anymore... I... He was always there for me... I changed so much thanks to him... He always saw past my flaws and cheered me on... I really want him back...

Exile:  ...I want him back, too... I really do... Blitz...

Blitz:  I'm sorry... I hurt you, Exile... I'm so sorry...

Exile:  It's okay, Blitzki... I'm fine... please come back to HQ, we'll help you avenge Cory... but not like this... please...

Blitz:  Exile...?
Afterward the two dogs helped eachother up and slowly walked, they both regretted ever hurting eachother, the doberman and the husky slowly walked back toward the others.

However, all of a sudden, the duo were ambushed by cano-mutants that came out of nowhere.

Blitz:  Damn it!! Not now!

Exile:  Part of Geist's group!?

Blitz:  Probably!

????:  Well, well, little brother, I never thought I'd see you again after that little... incident.

Blitz intantly recognized the deep, intimidating german accented voice.

Blitz:  Geist...

Suddenly, Geist, Sheng Long, Prowl, and Monster showed himself within the hord of cano-mutants.

Geist:  Fate is quite ironic, isn't it, brother... How lucky I am to have the chance to kill you here and now.

Sheng Long:  So you be Geist brother? Great! I starting sharp my claws so I can slice some meat off you ass!

Prowl:  Nothing personal, just doing my job.

Monster: ...I won't let you interfere with our plans.

Geist:  I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, brother, once I'm done with you, and the rest of the road eaters, There will be no one to stop me for my next big plan of making the world go boom!

Exile: [Confused] What are you talking about!?




Giest:  Yes... I'm going to nuke the entire world!
